Shutters to suit any modern decor

Shutter Tilt Rods

Within a traditional window shutter panel, all of the louvres are linked by a tilt rod that opens and closes the louvres together.  The tilt rod can be positioned in three places on the shutter but traditionally runs down the centre of the panel.  When the rod is moved, the louvres all move together in unison.

We can easily arrange for you to have offset push rods.  Offset push rods have exactly the same function as a centre rod but are positioned to one side of the shutter panel.  So whilst the louvres can still be adjusted, opened or closed, the rod is less likely to interfere with your view or create fussy vertical lines at your window opening.

We also offer the option of having the "Easy Tilt" hidden tilt rod mechanism for a clean, modern look.  This uses a gearing system hidden within the stile of the panel so there is no visible tilt rod.  The louvres are then operated by tilting one of the shutter louvres.

Please note that the easy tilt option is only available with 63mm and 89mm louvres.
